Job title:  Cashier/Stocker-Store 5 -Virginia Beach. Primary duties to include cashiering, stocking, sales, pricing, assisting customers in trying on clothes making selections.Tasks may also include a few janitorial duties, but not limited to: picking up trash from the parking lot & general vacuuming, dusting, organizing inside the stores. You are not assigned to only one task; you are expected to do any/all of the above duties daily as needed. Must have verbal English of 8 or above.
Second job: Students generally do not have a problem finding second jobs in this area from April to September time frame.
Additional information: This employer does not provide housing assistance. DO NOT report/arrive to your employer with your luggage. CHI suggested housing is located 5 blocks (approx 1/2 mile) from employer you can easily walk or ride a bike.
Specific instructions for arrival to employer: When you arrive to the Norfolk Airport, find transportation to the housing that you have selected. This employer does not provide any housing assistance at all, so you are not allowed to report to the employer with your luggage. Once you arrive at your housing, settle in to get a good night's sleep and then report to the employer the following day, between 9am and 3pm.

Clothing: You may be given a t-shirt to wear. If so, you will have to wear it while working. No short skirts/shorts, no high heels. No tops that show your stomach, for example: NO TUBE TOPS. Dress in casual comfortable, conservative clothing. Well groomed/no non-natural looking hair colors, no facial piercings (except for ears).

Housing Type: Motel. (1 Queen or 2 full size beds, micro/fridge, pillows, sheets, towels, tv, etc. Some rooms may have a kitchen but not all of them; based on availability. Ask hotel manager the price for room with kitchen.)
Student required to sign a separate housing contract?: Yes. Students must enter into a nightly, weekly or monthly (students choice) housing contract with motel. You may use this as start up housing or you may choose to stay the entire time. You will receive discounted rates however the rates will vary depending if you are paying nightly, weekly or monthly. You may have up to 4 people per room but no more than that is allowed. Remember to travel with friends to keep housing costs down for yourselves.
