Laundry Assistant/Attendant
-Loading washers and dryers, folding clean line and stocking linen shelves
-Replenishing the soap supply in the washers
-Carrying clean linen to housekeepers, guests, or the main office -Sorting linen based on type and color
-Emptying trash throughout the property
-Bringing housekeeping related items to guests, the main office or the management team.
-Carrying supplies from the supply room to the laundry room or to guest rooms
-Cleaning common areas such as the lobby, pool areas, fitness room and stairs
-Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information. -Speaking with others using clear and professional language
-Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
-Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects
-Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
-During the off season (fall, winter, spring) seasonal deep cleaning of rooms takes place. This may involve the movement of furniture.
-Additional duties as assigned by supervisors & management
Housekeeper This person is responsible for:
-Retrieving allocated supplies and transporting to area of responsibility.
-Filling cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
-Entering guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
-Replacing guest ammenitities, supplies, linens, and towels in all rooms. -Making the bed or beds and cleaning the bathrooms. -Removing trash, dirty linen, and service items.
-Checking that all appliances are present in the room and inworking order. Straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances, dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuuming carpets in guest rooms and hallway.
-Following all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, completing necessary training, properly storing materials.
-Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional: maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.

Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends are a requirement for all positions. Students assigned to a given position may not be required to perform all theresponsibilities listed above on one given day, but must be flexible and willing to do any and all items listed above. During seasons that are not as busy, flexibility and a willingness to do any task will contribute to the amount of hours worked.
