Job title: Crew Person-Science Museum - Richmond Job description : Verbal English level of 8 or higher on a scale of 1-10 required for this position. Students will be trained in various areas of the restaurant and then will be scheduled to work in the areas that they are the strongest in or the areas that are in need of the most help at the time. Duties may include but are not limited to: Sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping parking lot for trash, taking out trash, cooking, serving customers, taking orders, stocking supplies, cashiering, greeting customers.

Girls: 1 stud earring in each ear are all of the visible piercings allowed while working (this includes no tongue rings while working), nails must be kept well groomed no bold colors, anyone with long hair must keep it pulled up and back off of shoulders and away from face. Guys: must be clean cut with short hair, no visible piercings (this includes no tongue rings while working), no facial hair, no colored nail polish. Employer will provide shirt, name tag and visor which are to be returned before you leave the area at the end of your program. Students are required to bring/purchase black pants/slacks (no jeans or sweat pants), black belt & wear non-slip, close-toed, black shoes which can be purchased from Wal-Mart, Payless Shoes or on-line from Shoes for Crews (www.shoesforcrews.com) please note that shoes for crews tend to run a about 1/2 a size small. Cost approx. $30 for shoes. If you would like for the employer to order your pants and shoes for you, they will be happy to do that. You just need to email them your exact confirmed arrival information along with your shoe and pants sizes. If you ask them to order them for you, the cost of them will be deducted from your first paycheck. You must make this request for shoes, pants or both at least 2 week prior to arriving.

Additional Information: Metropolitan, This location is located next door to the Children's Museum of Richmond and the Virginia Science Museum and is on a direct bus route.Please try to arrive by 4 pm, if at all possible. Theresa Robinson will pick you up at the airport/Greyhound if you arrive by 4pm. If it is late at night, you may be required to take a taxi to your housing. All training will be completed at Science Museum. Ms. Theresa will pick you up on the first day of work and take you to Science Museum. At that time, she will give you the bus route information for getting to and from your housing to work. Please make sure you use their office address on your Social Security Application. Theresa will open your Social Security. Administration envelopes as they arrive to make a copy for your file. She will then pass them along to you at our location.
