The University of Massachusetts Boston, established in 1964, is a public research university located at Boston, Massachusetts. UMass Boston has an enrollment of 13,300 students. All the academic programs are housed in the College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Mathematics, Graduate College of Education, College of Management, College of Nursing, Graduate School of Policy Studies and College of Public and Community Service. The university awards undergraduate and graduate programs in several fields of study, as well as advanced certificate programs.
